Jack Justis Custom Cue Case with Artist Collaboration

The case in the first photo is made by Master Case Maker Jack Justis with a collaboration by R.G. Ross of St. Joe Indiana, who was responsible for the custom hand tooling and design of the case. Justis is widely regarded as one of the premier custom case makers in the world. A virtual who's who of professional players carry his cases; they are ubiquitous at tournaments. Jack's attention to detail and dedication to high quality and durability standards keeps him on a short list of great cue case makers.

R.G. Ross is a friend of Jack Justis. When I told Jack that I wanted a simple sleeve case that was completely hand tooled and unique, he suggested the following collaboration. He told me about Mr. Ross and his work. The floral pattern used on the case is a Sheridan pattern, local to the midwest. Ross does mainly saddlery work and has been doing so since 1959.

The project was a success and the finished piece is a work of art. Please be patient while the image loads. I tried to reduce the image sizes, but too much detail is lost in doing so. There is about 0.5MB to load. The bottom most image is a close-up shot of the front and back.
