Herman Rambow - Brunswick Cue

This Rambow - Brunswick Cue was made by Herman but during a time when he was employed by Brunswick. Many Brunswick cues were made by Rambow personally, so it isn't appropriate to claim this cue solely as a Rambow considering he was working for them at the time. My grandfather purchased this cue from Rambow at the Brunswick factory. My grandfather and Rambow were friends, and he would often have Rambow build him cues for the house to my grandfather's specs. This is one of the earliest Rambow's I have ever seen with the ivory disk at the butt. Unfortunately the ivory joint is missing. The reason it remains as is lies in the fact that the missing ivory reveals important attributes of Rambow's work.
